The girl had, had several days to get settled into the snow covered mountain, slowly she had got used to the cold still she chose to wander away from her new home. Having followed the river downstream for sometime she looked at everything around her. This land was so vast and different and she wanted to know all about it. About the different packs, gods, wolves that called it home. The sun was currently sitting high in the sky and she could hear the hum of a waterfall off somewhere perhaps there was one close by. Maybe not though because she hadn't found it yet. What she had found was a school of fish swimming in a shallow area of calm water. This part of the river seemed to be more narrow and like a good place to cross. Yet it wasn't that she wanted to cross it that she was wet. Golden eyes watched the fish swim as she stood within the cool water. Head lowered and snapped at the fish wildly and they fled from her. "This ain't easy." She grumbled hungrily to herself. Trying again this time she jumped at the fish splashing water as she did. The school swam away before regrouping some yards away. "Damn." Laemi growled under her breath. The teen had never fished before and that probably showed with how bad she was. "Yo fish! Hold still ya ain't got to make this hard I am hungry!" She tried yelling at the fish who were probably laughing at her. The skinny teen probably could have found easier prey to get, but even mice seemed to be hard to catch being that she had never been trained on just how to hunt. How she survived this land was beyond her.

OOC: Open to anyone. Maybe someone would be kind enough to come teach her how to fish?

..The stars shine as bright as your soul..

It wasn't often that Amaranthe mosied about Doutaini without Anteros, usually they were inseparable, cousins even though their blood did not say so. In one way, even the blood in her veins was unlike that of her mothers, she had no family ties but alas; that is not how this worked. After having enjoyed the stardust festival, she'd begun to wander more and more, wanting to explore this strange world around her and meet the even stranger wolves that came from different packs. She had family in Rebel, but as far as she knew; that was it. The Naveen trickled below a surface of crystal clear liquid, Amaranthe made her way to the edges of it with a surety that graced her small yet stocky frame. She was as delicate as an angel for the most part, though lately she had been hunting more often and had become quite the explorer with Anteros, she was the Queen of the Hakai forest after all. Paws sink into the softness of the waters edge as she lets the water flow through her toes, the cool sensation one that has her closing her eyes momentarily to enjoy it.

Short-lived however, a large splash whips her head around so hazelnut eyes can pinpoint the noise, the culprit to such an ungraceful slosh of water. An ice wolf re-emerges from the water, hands on hips, clearly disappointed with whatever it was she was doing. Ears erect, Ama moves cautiously towards the teen, similar in age to what she was, though their pendants gave away their differences. "What are you doing?" She questions curiously, after having cleared her throat upon approach to announce her arrival. Some yards away, she spots the cluster of shadows that could only be fish, and as the idea dawns on her; she finds herself grinning ear-to-ear at the ice wolf.
"Speech."

He advanced along through the woods, turning past events and future possibilities over in his mind and humming to himself. He was, ostensibly, on his way to Ice; the fact that he had no idea how to get to the place didn't really worry him too much. He would, as usual, find his way if he was meant to arrive. If not he would end up somewhere else. It was all one or the other. In any case, he was in no rush; the chilly air and colored trees interested him, as did the movements of birds and squirrels in them.
Not because he was hungry. He just wondered what they were doing.
A flock of geese crossed overhead. He watched them, open-mouthed, and kept going. The river rushed along next to him, full of rainwater from somewhere upstream. He followed it in a possibly northward direction, after squinting toward the sun and frowning. The afternoon wore on, and he strolled along at the same steady speed, occasionally snapping small twigs or tripping.
If he went far enough north, he though suddenly, he'd arrive at the lake shore where he was born.
Intriguing, but, he decided, a waste of time to investigate. The camp under the oak tree was, no doubt, totally overgrown, and nobody would be there.
The black knight moved along instead, considering that if any place had nobody in it, it was where he was. Not that he wasn't used to it, but he also sometimes wished other people were with him when he traveled around, but, he supposed, he could see why they might not want to wander around the woods for days -
A voice interrupted his thoughts. He paused, stared around for the source of the yelling, and suddenly twitched to a more conscious sort of life. If someone was shouting, they could be in trouble; he pushed his burly frame through the thorns and plants near the riverbank, stared around quickly, and spotted a pale shape bouncing around downstream.

Not, clearly, someone who was in trouble.
The bright look in his eyes dulled somewhat. He stood still, staring at the scene blankly, and eventually summoned up a comment to make on the event.
"Why are you doing that?"

Chasing after the fish she would continue to growl softly as she splashes about. Looking more like a playing puppy than a fishing wolf. Ears pinned to her skull as the golden eyed women found herself more and more flustered and more soaked as time went on. She became so focused on trying to catch the fish that the girl didn't even hear the others head her way. Head ducking under the water and teeth snapping she came up gasping for air about the time she noticed the Divine lady and heard her words. "Failing." She replied. She was being a tad grumpy, but she wasn't lying she was very much failing. "Ain't ya seen anybody fish before?" The words slipped more softly from her lips this time as she turned to look at the other girl. Panting heavily she needed a break so she moved out of the water and sat down on the bank of the river.

Looking at the women she than noticed the male. So this stranger wasn't alone? Or maybe they had just all met by chance. "Why? Cus I am hungry." She replied as she blinked at he boy. Why would he even ask her why she was doing that? Like why not? Why was he wondering? "Names Laemi." Not that they asked, but might as well give her name. Shaking her head she splashed some water off of her ears. "Oops my bad." The teen quickly added realizing she probably got the others wet with her shaking.

Amaranthe. Hopefully that tag works phone kept trying autocorrect the name into something else.

..The stars shine as bright as your soul..

The young Ice wolf continued to splash and dip her head into the water, retreating with wild gasps and angry growls of frustration. It wasn't until after her initial question that the girl spotted her finally, snapping words that were supposed to be obvious to the little divine princess, she'd clearly missed something. "Oh, excuse me..." she apologizes, "I must not have seen anyone fish like that before," it is a mockery of an answer if anything, but the grin that lights up her alabaster features shows the kindness behind the jest. It isn't long before Rascal joins them, her fellow warrior in Divine and Ama turns hazel eyes at him with a nod, her grin still plastered on her face. Rascal was always abrupt, straight to the point and if she had to admit it; slightly judgemental- but she loved him for all those traits either way. Turning back to the girl as she answers him, Amaranthe tilts her head and wanders closer still, to the waters' edge. "You're scaring them," she said simply, "they can't know you're coming, or, you have to trap them." Her father and mother had taught her to fish from the ponds when she was a child, it was always something she'd enjoyed doing, and fish was one of her favorite meals. She turns to Rascal, shrugging softly in a way that asked; shall we help her? She'd of course; already made up her mind though.
"Speech."

Laemi Amaranthe thanks for waiting
He hadn't noticed someone else was there. He jumped slightly and swiveled his head to the other voice, pale eyes sharpening again. He had been in a strange fog ever since the festival, and it was starting to show.
The other party was just Amaranthe, he saw; he smiled gently, looked between the two younger women thoughtfully, and frowned again. Fishing? Rascal knew how to fish, of course; his mother had taught him many years before, but he didn't think it involved so much splashing. No, she'd always said the key was to be quiet. He had never been very good at it.
"You have to be quiet," he stated, blinking slowly. "Or they can hear you."
"Hello Amaranthe," he added, politely, to his young acquaintance. He didn't really know most of the younger members of his pack very well. He didn't know anyone very well, though; he'd always sort of been by himself and the habit hadn't changed much as he aged. "Are you going to ice, too?"
The stranger was wearing an ice necklace, he realized, suddenly. He turned his head, eyes lighting up again, and finally directed a pleased expression toward her. It obviously followed that an ice wolf would know how to get to the mountain. This had clearly been one of those fortunate meetings that sometimes happened to him when he wasn't sure where he was going or what he was doing. Clearly, she could tell them how to get there. Him and Amaranthe. Who was, probably, not actually looking for the mountain, but it was possible that she might be.
Yes, that made sense. Why else would she be out here? This was one of those moments for sure. The beginning of a surprise event. He could feel it.
"I can help you catch a fish," he announced, to the youth from the mountain. "And then maybe you can show us how to get to your home."
To see Icarus. And, with luck, the ptarmigan.
It was a fair trade. The black knight smiled and nodded as if she'd already agreed.

Was she being mocked? The tone of the other girls voice made her a uncomfortable. It made her feel like she was being judged and Laemi didn't like it. The teen felt embarrassed. In return Laemi hide these emotions away by coming off as a bit snippy. Trying to hide everything away as if she was a proud confident wolf instead of just a moody teenager trying to figure stuff out herself. Ears pinned as she rolled her eyes and looked away from the divine wolves. Mostly the other girl. "Ya well I ain't ever had a teacher for anything. There ain't be anybody ever think I worthy enough to teach shit to." She grumbled as she looked away from the girl and a pout crossed her lips. 'Don't let 'em see ya cry. Keep it together girl.' She told herself feeling the worthless status thrown onto her by her birth pack washing over her emotions. Just when she thought maybe she could get away from such feelings they came flooding back to her.

Laemi allowed her ears to lift from being flatted against her skull to drooping down as she turned away from the female to look at the fish. Trapping was a good idea. Why hasn't she thought to try that? Oh she is such an idiot. Stupid, stupid, stupid... The golden eyes women was perhaps being too hard on herself, but she was just in one of those strange moods right now.

Standing up she looked at the male and listened to him. Allowing a sigh to leave her lips the teen faked a smile over her embressessment. Than her face turned to real curiousness. He had been looking for ice? Interesting. "Um yeah sounds like a fair trade. Who are ya though?" She said in a calmer more polite tone now. Laemi was honestly wondering who both wolves were. "Also what pack ya from?" She added looking between them at their necklaces.

Amaranthe. It is okay also this reply is a bit icky sorry. Only got 3 hours of sleep due to reasons, mostly stress.

..The stars shine as bright as your soul..

"It's okay," she says instantly, guilt wrapping itself tightly around her heart as the expression of the ice wolf grows darker, "we'll teach you, hey Rascal?" She nods as if reassuring herself and she moves closer to Laemi, nodding in greeting to her pack mate as she goes. "I'll come to Ice," she affirms, she had nothing better to do anything and she wanted to get to know Rascal more, they were the warriors of Divine, after all. Rascal makes a deal with the Ice wolf, and after all had been talked over, Amaranthe turns her gaze to the fish. "Okay, so first things first, you have to keep really quiet, and really still." Amaranthe takes a step into the water, then another, until her shoulders are in line with the surface. The fish spook and move away, but once she's found a place and freezes; they begin to float back towards her. Hazel eyes find Laemi and she nods as the fish slip between them and the shore, and quickly; Amaranthe throws her head forwards and into the water like a spear, resurfacing with a flopping fish of silver scales. She tosses it upwards onto the sand as the other fish scatter, but soon enough, they would return. "Your go," she tells Rascal, a grin wide on her silken maw.
"Speech."
