Time for an adventure! He grins, a wide and charming expression as he, Amaranthe and Tembrel sneak away from the celebratory feast, only so he can lead them off towards the edges of the fields. Sure enough, he'd found a cave of rock and dirt, the mouth of it wide enough to be a bear den, though there is no scent of bear around. Maybe it was abandoned? And peering into it, there is only darkness. Encompassing, even, and he seems to be made both giddy and nervous--nervicited?-- by the prospect of going spelunking.

He turns to glance behind him, brilliant eyes glistening with the unfettered and unbroken excitement for adventure that courses through his veins. He is a Fayell-Deimos, and perhaps he is cursed by the both of them--cursed with Briar's determination and Lunafer's wanderlust.
"What do you think is in there?" he asks, nearly bouncing at the balls of his feet as he gears himself up to lead the charge inside.

"You Light Up My Skies"

..The stars shine as bright as your soul..

Tembrel asks her the question she hoped he would not, but then again; it wasn't so terrible a story was it? "My mother, Lypso'ru, gave birth to my four siblings," she told him, "but they were all dead," she shakes her head sadly, her ears furrowing to her skull, "but then something amazing happened! Hotaru came to mumma's side and nurtured her, taking the souls of my siblings with her to the heavens, and in their place- she gifted mumma me! Made from stardust and Hotaru's light itself, she brought me to life and gave mumma a chance to love again." It was an incredible story, a sad one; but miraculous. With a grin at Tembrel though, they were off!

She follows the boys enthusiastically, though there is a nagging in her brain that tells her none of them should enter such a dark and ominous section of the world. To her, the caves and darkness were reserved for those enigmites that were used to it, but her mother would scold her for being so closed off to the possibilities of adventure. Anteros bounds around like a giddy child and Ama can't help but smile helplessly at him, he surely had a way of projecting his excitement onto those around him, and without realizing; she had begun to feel it as well. "Maybe a demon?" Amaranthe said boldly (and with quite a bit of cheek), glancing into the dark tunnel before them as if it were an alien, she pulls up next to Anteros and swats him with her tail, "there's probably nothing in there you know," she whispers to him, hoping Tembrel hadn't her, for she knew her cousin was trying to impress the little enigma boy. Her pendant hums at her throat as she turns to smile at their new found friend, "watch this," she giggles, before shine brings her whole body to life with a huge, yet unblinding glow. An angel, it lights up the entrance and a small part of the interior before them, but oh, she cannot look just yet!
"Speech."

He watched Amaranthe intently while she told her story. He believed every word, even though the story almost sounded like a tall tale. That thought never crossed his mind. But something else did. Something malignant and heavy. Clawing up into the back of his throat. Envy... or resentment. He found himself looking down at his toes, wondering why Hotaru blessed this Lypso'ru person, but his father was still dead and not at peace. And then he wondered about his own mother. It was a strange thought, because she had never crossed his mind before, and his feelings were suddenly foreign and angry. It scared him.

He swallowed. "That's amazing," he said. He flashed a grin back at Amaranthe, and set off after her. He hoped to leave the troubling emotions behind. They made their way to a big cave, almost like a den. He stepped toward it eagerly, almost overexcited to feel walls and a roof over him again. He paused, though, caught by those brilliant eyes of the Hakai King. Maybe it would be better to let the brave but uninitiated make the first move? Tembrel grinned, head dipped slightly. His gaze passed to the Hakai Queen, stardust incarnate, who suggested there might be a demon inside. Tembrel couldn't help the quiet chuckle that thrummed through his throat at that. Although he didn't hear her, he didn't expect there would be much in this cave either. Mostly mice, maybe a bat. Caves were not a big mystery to him after living in one his whole life.

Watch this, she told him, but as her whole body began to radiate white light, Tembrel found himself squinting even though it wasn't blinding. "Whoa!" She looked like an angel, or a star in the shape of a wolf. He glanced at Anteros, mouth open in a wide smile. "What's she doing?" He didn't know she was simply shining - for all he knew, she could be in the process of making one of those light swords Anteros talked about. Tembrel wondered, almost immediately, how well one of his shadows would fare in her presence. Probably not well at all.

..The stars shine as bright as your soul..

Tembrel was a quiet sort of fellow, or perhaps it was just that she and Anteros were super loud. She hadn't really thought of it that way, and if she had known that Enigma wolves could read minds she would have felt double sorry for their new friend, he'd cop a double whammy of their speech and thoughts, it would be enough to drive someone mad. Either way, she shines her way around the entrance of the cave as Anteros explains what she's doing, after having explained about his dads', yeah, two dads. Briar and Lunafer, she never did understand that, but why question something so awesome? Briar had passed away, but his spirit was still among them, unlike her father, who had all but disappeared one day. She frowns, thankful neither of them could see it, before Anteros takes his questioning to another level. shadows.. It wipes Amaranthe's bad mood, "of course they'd be able too!" she squeaks, "right Tem?" She could picture it now, the little wolf covered in a blanket of shadows that dance about his body like a trance.

It's short lived.
Ahead of them, Anteros goes partying in the dark by himself, and as Ama's shine melts away into nothing; she hears him fall. "Anteros!" She shrieks, slinging herself into the cave and calling shine again, it instantly lights up the small crevasse to which Anteros had fallen in to. "Oh my goddess, you dope. How the hell are we supposed to get you out of there?"
"Speech."
