..The stars shine as bright as your soul..

Spring time brought life with it to the cove, every flower was brighter than before and the smells were overwhelmingly beautiful. Amaranthe pads along the seashore, she'd only just finished her daily prayer to Hotaru and as per her schedule; she spends a little while humming to the sound of the rocking waves as sand filters through her toes. Perhaps it was a way for her to keep calm when things seemed a little too much to bear, the absence of her father and friends was beginning to weigh on her, added with the grief of Briar's death and the realization that she was some sort of freak, Ama wasn't dealing too well with the reality of it all. Instead though, she drifts along the sand in the early hours, her tune light and jiggy as the waves crash methodically against the shore break. What else could she do? Hazelnut eyes lift to the sky, before traveling up the bay towards the caverns that split their home into three, her lips curl as she throws up a howl to the wind, inviting any of Divines members down the beach for a spot of training.
"Speech."

Sleep left her few hours before sunrise, morning stars shining before the dawn had crept up the horizon. Giving up on her bed of grass, she instead strode through the meadow. Muzzle lifted to the sky and thanked her goddess of diamonds, the pallid deity that rested in the stars and greeted Zinna with the sun's first rays that tickled her fur as the golden warrior rose from the sea... A friendly call from a familiar white figure invited her to change course and join her in the morning. Smiling ear to ear, she skipped the short distance that separated her from the star-child.
"'Morning, Amy!" she chimed, aiming to brush cheeks in greetings with her packmate. "How are you?" the red wolf inquired, tail wagging happily. The fresh air that ruffled her caramel fur brought her the scents of new flora, the Cove in spring was always filled with pleasant parfumes: like a candle shop. And, even though there were less greens, the shoreline was no different from the meadow of flowers: fresh scents of salted water and seafoam were gently carried on the breeze.

The sun burned down on his back; the ocean crashed gently on the rocks beneath him, and he snored gently through it all. The black knight had foregone sleeping indoors as the season turned steadily warmer. His little hole at the tideline had gotten too stuffy and, anyway, he preferred the open air. Even the sun's rising had failed to stir him out of his dreams.
(the dreams were about swimming underwater with fish; the occasional splash of seafoam onto his eyelids drove him deeper into it.)
So he was asleep, but not, despite appearances, unaware. He spent enough time sleeping under bushes and in fields to always have an ear open for anything out of the ordinary. The cries of the seagulls were normal, as were the waves and the gusty wind, but the soft crunching of footsteps in the sand wasn't. One ear twitched toward the sound of the approaching steps, somewhere a little below his perch on the warm rocks. It took in the sound, relayed it to his brain (the fish, abruptly, scattered) and some deeply hidden sense of preservation demanded his attention.
wake up.
His silver eyes cracked open. He raised his head, yawned, stared around blearily, and finally fixed his gaze some five feet downwards toward a pair of familiar figures. Yes, these were his compatriots. He blearily recognized them, although their names hadn't yet managed to waft through his drowsy brain. The knight smiled gently down on the pair, stretched himself, and stood up slowly.
"Is it time to get up?"
The morning sun might have suggested that, to someone else, but he often slept through the morning and late into the afternoon if he wasn't off on one of his adventures. But, if something was going to happen, it would behoove him to be involved - however briefly. He yawned again.

"Zin!" Amy replies cheerily, her ears perking straight forward to cup at the front of her head as the golden wolf arrives. Zinna was perhaps one of her favorite among the divines, and a wolf who was as familiar as they get. She had grown up with the healer, so as their cheeks brush lightly in greeting; Ama's chuckle fills the air around them gleefully. "I'm fantastic, how are you?" She chimes sweetly, sincerely, for she actually did want to know how the girl was. "Hey, before I forget, could you teach me about herbs one day?" it was a keen interest she had developed over the last couple of months, she knew her mother had too, and figured it was because of their time in Earth. The pack in the forest worshiped the trees and the brush as if it were alive, and in a way Ama guessed it was. She didn't really know how it worked, but she knew she wanted to find out more about how herbs could help in everyday life, and of course; how they could assist in healing others.

A voice pulls her attention further up the beach as Rascal yawns sleepily, Ama grins at him, raising a brow as if she found his question comical. "Of course it is!" She tells him, a sarcastic lilt to her voice as she winks at him, "wanna join me for some elemental practice? I haven't trained in a while..." she looks back to Zinna as well, to extend the invitation to the healer as well.
"Speech."

Not yet having fully matured, not yet having grown into a fully-fledged adult, the young prince still holds a great deal of mischief in his bones, and with a grin, he begins to practice the stalking and hunting that Lypso'ru has been kind enough to teach him. With a flurry and a great burst of energy, he leaps forward with all intents of landing upon Amaranthe, closing his jaws playfully around the nape of the starchild to tug her to the ground,"And thus, the mighty hunter's prey falls to him!" He cheers for himself, pausing to gaze towards those others in attendance before a grin--rougish as it is, proud-- lights up his face. His confidence grows just as he does, and becoming a creature sharp of wit and free in his affections, he rises again and greets them all with a brilliant, gleaming white smile,"Have I interrupted anything?" While asking after the fact seems to have it's own note of irony to it, there is a pleasant warmth that comes with his presence--perhaps vestiges of his fairer-parent, perhaps a learned behaviour in itself. He leans against Amaranthe--his cousin, near-sister, touched by the gods just as he-- finding comfort in her presence, perhaps a comfort in her familiarity. She too, who knows the loss of a parent, who stood with him in his darkest hour. "What are we doing today?"
