"Tell me! Oh tell me where I am!" his musical tones reached out into the night, echoing softly before dispersing. Blonde twigs for legs carried him through the muck that was the pits. Winter had passed and spring had come, melting the snow and softening the soil. All that was left behind was mud, it coated his limbs, coated his feet. A snarl-like chuckle escaped his maw, neck bending to look up at the night.
"These curved lips I can't disguise when I stare up at the starry night sky. The moon has led me astray, but perhaps this land can be a resting place? The muck is a con, but I think I can make do" his voice coed rhythmically as he pawed at the nasty ground. He sat down in it, mismatched eyes glowing with delight.

This is so horrible and makes me cringe but I needed to get something fir Edgar up Aderchop

The creature would wait.
Patient and steady it was, for this was not the first time the creature had ever entered the masses of mud and dust. Hopelessness and fear. Nervousness and hate. Some of the multitudinous wordings that it would use to describe the place that surrounded it. The vulgar muck that seemed to make itself home here seemed to be suddenly something it missed. Without reasoning or precautions.

Its first time here was not as terrible as it had originally believed it would be. Rather abnormal, being completely honest with itself. The other beasts like itself had seemed rather friendlier than it was ever expected. Their kindness was, abnormal. Therefore, its reactions had not been exactly normal back. Kindness was not something that was given. Just like respect, kindness was usually earned.

It was wise enough to know that. Well, at least, it believed it was. The darkness that still plundered in the soul of the beast would not go away. Habits and instincts would remain. Instructions given to it by the many generations that had came before this specific beasts. The genetics that tied with others in the reaction of this creature. It would base its life off of things that had simply been taught to it. Things it had learned from the past. Things it would learn at this moment. Things that would come into the future.

The brute waited with its own reasonings. Listening and learning slowly and carefully. Thoughts escaping from its mind and into its movements. Occasionally, it would have to think before making its own steps. Moving paws forward was not as easy as it had been back in its younger ages. Not that this brute was considered old. It was considered a bit more further down the timeline than others that it had seen before. Curiosity rarely picked at it anymore. It knew very little about Doutaini, the place that it seemed it was now stuck in. Trapped here with other souls that probably wanted to leave this place as well. Synonymous did not seem to hate the area that now surrounded it. Thick fur caught in the muck that decided to stick close to the older creature in a curious manner. It was simply not used to it. It wanted to return to surroundings that had once been familiar with it.

Dwelling 'neath that twisted tree is he when the two souls come, and with sharp and venomous eye he watches both.

The darker shape is closer, and it takes him a moment to recognise its shuffling gait, the shadowy strangeness of the stocky-cut form. Then, it comes to him.
Aderchop makes a painful deal of standing, for his legs are weak and the joints pain him somewhat in such actions, so he leans a shoulder against the trunk and elegantly those slender grey stilts unfold beneath him, an eye twitching and a small whine tugging in his throat. Then forth he comes, body twisting slowly and legs stalking with calculated steps in the dark wolf's direction, and gradually his stride becomes more ordinary and less wary; tiredness entangles his thoughts for a while, and now he parts the tentacles of sleep 'round his brain, and through them he smiles thinly and oddly, front teeth showing as sidelong he approaches the brute.
”Beetle!” is his soft call, lilting with a sardonic recognition. Of course, the two wolves had scarcely known each other at all; the serpent, along with Mars and Devil May Cry, had merely met the nameless other at the borders of these very pits when first it came, and it seems now that it had neither turned back and only now returned, or it had in fact never left this mire.
”Pleasant to see that ashen face again.” Depending on the wolf's reaction to his approach, he would now hang at a slight distance from it, grinning wanly with tilted head and stooped frame. ”Grown a tongue by now, have you?”

And yet suddenly a snap of memory comes unto him, an instinctual tug at his pelt, and following whatever interaction has by this point taken place between him and 'Beetle', the serpent sharply whips his head around in the direction of that other shape he had spied upon he horizon. A pale shape, wispy and licked with mud 'round the feet. His expression grows vaguely troubled. The reason for his dwelling by that gnarled tree has been as a strange spectral sentry, a silvery guard into these lands, though by no means had he been trying at prevention of all souls. Nay, rather since the arrival of the dead-eyed Damascus from his own strange homeland, something had jerked violently within him, a thought that perhaps more were coming hither as he spoke. Has some incident occurred? Or do roving eyes grow hungry back in those accursed hills, hungry for new land?

He traces the scent as he approaches the cream wolf, Beetle being given the option to follow if it so desired. That scent, reminiscent indeed of that nameless place, of olden fear and clutching anomaly. Gait grows brisk, grows stiff and anxious, frustrated. Upon the wolf, from whom strange tuneful tones seem to be drifting upon the dead air, he quite rushes, the last distance between them being covered by a sudden frantic dash, before he comes to a sloshing halt in the foul mud roughly two metres before the stranger, not caring how the stuff licks up his legs.
”Warum kommst du alle? Warum jetzt? What is bringing you here?!” The words are hissed, spat, large serpentine eyes staring into the mismatches ones of the stranger. Hackles half-prickled and back raised, skull lowered, he observes the other's features as if starving to take it in, to unravel this mystery as soon as possible. It takes him a moment to process him to be of Eadm blood, the venomous bards of ancient ties to that place. At this information he twitches a little, though too this is of nervousness, the nervousness which crawls down his spine.

The creature would wait

It had felt the male’s presence before the masculine brute had truthfully entered the area, causing hesitation among the creature’s own body motions. For its own opticals would dart in the direction of the male known as Aderchop, and curiosity would spike through its own head but the familiarity of this creature was anything but new.

It remembered him, despite the time they had spent apart and the sudden disappearance of the genderless brute, its memory of him was rather vivid and clear. Despite that though, the creature did not react. Its own piercing yellow eyes would stare towards the male in a way that was everything but familiar. Its own thoughts running through its head, and its mind rewinding and replaying the memories that it had last had with this creature. For reasons of the unknown, it respected him. Though its respect had seemed to lower when he called it ‘Beetle’.

The name seemed new, for the creature did not remember it from before. Besides that, it watched the male closely. Eying the movements of the slightly younger mammal. Noticing his sudden reaction towards the other male in the area, and curious of his own words. Though, it did not speak. Just staring blankly at the two, wondering and guessing that they had known each other from the pass. Maybe, they had came from the same place. To the creature itself, that was nothing more than a small guess. One that seemed to make logical sense.

His paws trampled the mud below his paws, and he skipped around on unnaturally tall legs. It wasn't long until a wayward soul appeared in the distance. He eyed him darkly, recognition spreading across pale features. Small pupils like ink dots filled with emotion as he remembered his home. He pranced around Aderchop as he came to a stop, head twisting at odd angels.
"I'm hear because I can be" he said softly, aiming to stretch hisneck out and playfully nip at Aderchop's rear end. "du hast einen knochigen arsch" he commented, barking a laugh He turned to the man in the distance, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "BEETLE, IS THAT YOU'RE NAME FELLOW?" he called out in an odd tone, hackles flared with excitement. He had overheard the odd name that familiar fellow had called the dark man.

Watching the Eadm's flaxen form, tall and strong, trotting and staring and foolish, Aderchop cannot help but simply glare back in a loathing twist of venom and astonishment. In his unnatural height and his ethereal figure, light and dancing in the filth of this pit, he is as an alien from a far off land meant to be forgotten, an idiot horseman trailing doom on a leash in his wake, a symbol of deathly past returning in frightening presence, frightening reality. The remnants of a nightmare dragging itself, hideously bloated and swollen, from the black recesses of time's fat carcass.
The doombringer proceeds to bite Aderchop on the behind.

A sharp, frightful yelp and a lurching in all directions at once judders the serpent from thought. Legs quaking abruptly beneath him, it takes him a moment, quelling quick breaths with tightened lips, to reroot his feet in the loam, hackles bristling. The Eadm bellows to the gender-ambiguous stranger which Aderchop had dubbed Beetle, his idiocy archaic, extraterrestrial. He makes the Damascus look favourable.
”Not her real name.” he hisses between bared teeth, eyes twitching a fierce gaze across the floor, gradually edging back towards the Eadm and yet refusing, unwilling, to find his face again. ”His name. It's name. I don't bloody know.”
The shadowy wolf, however, save for in these muttered words, is gone from the serpent's mind for now. More so he wishes to know of the Eadm. Perhaps his homeland thrives still - or perhaps, like an anthill, it has crumbled into itself and collapsed, sending hideous things crawling from its ruin. ”What, then, Eadm? What is it? What do you things want that you cannot get from that place?” Words spat, turning his head to look into the stranger's face once more, Aderchop tilts his head violently to one side, staring with wide green flame-pools. Then, lips curling into a cold and sardonic smirk, he adds, more to himself than to either of the other wolves, ”God. Look at me here. Standing in a shit pit with a mute and an idiot. What a bloody life.”

The creature would wait.

It watched the mildly older masculine hiss angrily towards the somewhat younger one, and it seemed that nothing more but anger, hate, and detest seemed to come from the male’s voice. It would not speak, its silence would be nothing more than temporary though for it had something it wanted to say but seemed unsure about saying it. At least for now. Its own figure had shifted, hesitating just barely and moving the y-axis position of its own body. Opticals full of nothing more than alexithymia and possible emotionlessness. Its breathing was somewhat labored, suddenly stormy almost. Rather questionable of course as well.

"Synonymous"

That was all the beast had managed to speak, the rather nether part of its own shanks was rather covered in the loathful liquid that had surrounded the pits. More like they had thrived in them. The beast did not seem to mind this though, just staring towards the two viriles in a rather unblinking and unhesitant gaze. One that could stare out for all eternity. The beast did not expect anything but hate coming from the more familiar male and towards the rather less familiar one. The older beast saw this as nothing more than a somewhat aggressive get-together. These two were possibly reuniting, but even it seemed somewhat unsure about that for a questionable reason.
