OOC ~ So...Alicia is digging up a grave and took a leg bone... :D

A silent stalking, darkness flowing like the very fog which gathers in flowing waves, a myriad of death and morbid beauty ; calling in sombre tones. A part of the shadows, the tenebrosity one with her withering soul, stolen at birth by the devil and poisoned with his words of charm and brewing potions ; casting storms stealing light from the sky and suffocating life from each breath. Heart of ice and steel melded into a weapon by Satan's own hands, charred talons of raven grasping at the pulsing organ, beating life into her bones and letting her manipulate such a thing to bend to her very will ; neither living nor dead ; a phantom between two worlds for she follows no rules of these living mortals - humility and comfort treaded over with hunger and a need for power.

"One for Joy." Soft soil lay disturbed at her paws, muscled sword grasping at the dirt and tearing it from its home. "Two for sorrow." Sinister smile carved against her lips, serpent's tail held high in the air. "Three for a girl." There with a purpose to her mindless digging, each pull against the terrain begging excitement through her bloodstream. Chaotic from the start. "Four for a boy." Nose against the burned hole now, tugging and tying, searching whole heartedly. "Five for silver." She was getting closer now. "Six for gold." For below her paws lay another's grave, torn apart now, mist glinting off the greyed out bone. "Seven for a secret never to be told." Fangs claiming now, for the strangers leg now belonged to Her.

He was a long way from anything familiar; neither trees or desert. A path led upward and he traveled along it, humming under his breath and disturbing dead leaves. A fine layer of dust covered the rest of the crusted dirt that stuck to him. He looked perfectly ordinary. Or, he thought so, at least. Someone that nobody would think twice about. Nice and easy. The leaves drifted across the path in response to a chilly breeze. He glanced at them without much interest.
The path evened out into a flat space without any warning.
He stopped and frowned at it.
Gorgon was not a stranger to graveyards. He'd seen all kinds of weird stuff in his lifetime. Visiting dead people was hardly a rare event in his life; there had been plenty of those to go around. Some of them were his fault, some other people's, and a couple had just up and died on their own without any assistance. So, more or less, he'd gone to funerals and wakes and eyeballed gravestones pretending to be sad. The graveyard he was now presented with was neither a shock or something he was particularly nervous about.
Looked like he wasn't the only one.
He was quick to spot the moving shape, digging in the ground, and equally quick to drop any semblance of being anything more interesting than a wandering hobo. The filth that stuck to him helped. So did the idle way he immediately stood, most of the weight on one side of his body.
There didn't seem to be much to say about this, but he doubted he was going to go unnoticed for long. For one thing, he didn't smell too great. For another, he hadn't exactly been stealthy in his approach. He thought about casually inquiring on whether digging up graves was a popular local hobby, but decided that, under the circumstances, it was best to save it.
Instead he amused himself pretending to read the first grave in line until his presence was remarked on. He wasn't really sure what he thought he was doing, but, whatever it was, it was probably best to do it as nonchalantly as possible. He figured.

Chaos, everything was chaos. From where she's perched, off to the side and shrouded in what treelife there was here, she can hear the scathing of claws digging. The scratch marks and scuffles as dirt flew into another area, pushed aside for later. From where her chin lay resting against her front paws, she looks up to find a female digging up a grave. Aquatic, her orbs narrow slightly, though she makes no effort to move. "Of all the graves, you choose that one?" chords of methodic taste, her tongue flicks against her front incisors as she speaks,

and finally, does the rebel bitch lift her head.

She'd been napping, perhaps the place of choice was a little morbid, but she was of the ridge, a cemetery meant nothing to her. She blinks sleepily, licking at her lips to give them moisture as she props herself up. "Friend of yours?" she inquires, looking pointedly at the bone the rogue bitch chews, before her eyes slip to the male who at that point, pretends to read one of the grave stones. It was unclear; which one she meant.

Aching for a need to crawl into the discovered hole and curl into a never ender sleep, every limb begging to let her demons rest ; a new wolf birthed from the ocean. She had awoken with dry fur and demanding hunger, a mind filled with abysmal cries, blank were the days before her awakening, but there the ocean had been ; a comfort upon her side. Leaving such a thing, the girl once awake strode straight to where she was drawn to. Eyes carved deep into her skull, ribs pronounced from her sides but fire was born in her orbs and a hint of something wrong with in her.

With the bone between her teeth, a lost smile upon her features, she began looking for something that could keep it with her - oh she had plans - of course, she could just carry it. But what about her voice. Or that voice? Who's voice? There upon the air, a question, oh how she liked questions - could she be in on the game? "Feed the madness and it feeds on you," Melody to her youthful tones, if youth even bowed to her anymore, she turned and grinned at the woman who spoke to the madness. Bone dangling from the side of her mouth, unnoticed was the curious boy until she looked. Oh, there was the dishevelled mess. Was it hers? The girl thought so. "Mine? Mine? Mine? Mine." Laughing, a maniacal sort of over the cauldron laugh, head tilted to the side as she looked at the male, each syllable drawing her closer to him and away from the other. "Come to me and you will see," That sing song voice was back, the bone dropped though it's position memorised, looking between them now, feeling the air against her head as she shifted.

Crazy teenagers, a woman who talked too much and, all in all, Gorgon was starting to see a pattern in his little adventures in these parts. He stopped pretending to read, eyeballed both girls skeptically, and shrugged his shoulders.
"Nah, I'm not from around here. Just bone-ing up on my local history."
A grin crossed his face and he wagged both eyebrows up and down a few times at the pair, clearly pleased with himself.
The smile drifted back off his features when the teenager started talking.
"Uh, you know what, no thanks." he said, "Pretty sure you can get all kinds of diseases from messing with graves, there, kid. Might wanna put that stuff down."
Not that she didn't resemble a walking infestation already, but, he guessed, someone who was as dirty as he was couldn't really judge. At least, not openly. Privately he was a little grossed out.
"Actually," he continued, his tone returning to a sort of self-amused drawl, "You might say you're digging your own grave."
Being in situations like this made him vaguely irrational - between the weird kid playing with corpses and that loud-mouth stranger who asked too many questions, he felt his own sense of normal behavior was a little inadequate. Not that he was scared of either of the waifs, even slightly. The whole scenario was just a little bit twilight zoney for him; he was uncomfortable, and had never been much good at acting casual when people around him seemed to be actively trying to out-crazy each other. Which was probably why his next move was to clear this throat and ask, in all seriousness, "What did the skeleton say to the vampire?"
He paused briefly.
"You suck."
Hilarious. He was a comedy genius. He wondered how hard it would be to keep these two weirdos distracted so he could take off and return to pleasant solitude. Probably more difficult than he assumed, unless he could -persuade them that there was a ghost behind them or something.
A trick so old that it was probably time to let it die.
He could probably dig it back up again, one last time, if he needed to.
The traveler fell silent, having, momentarily, run out of dumb things to say. His dark eyes shifted from one stranger to the other, waiting for someone to interject a new comment. Or not.

And here she thought she'd found a wolf who could have at least passed for normal, she sighs dramatically to emphasize her disappointment. The girl drones on and on, and finally; Althea gets to her feet with tremendous effort, even though the bones beneath her skin were already beginning to strengthen once again. Born and bred in Rebel, it wouldn't take her body long to re-educate the finer points of predator. She is every bit her mother, as she who reigns. "Good, a fucking dumbass and a pyschopath, and here I was hoping for a simple day," jaws snap closed with the click of finality, her eyes drifting from one wolf to the other, distaste obvious in the scowl her features folded into.

But then she has an idea, a scrumptious plan to start a game, to take candy from a baby. a smirk flicks to life across her face, eyes squinting at the sides in mischief, before she lunges forwards. Rebel abilities propel her forwards faster than most wolves, her jaws thrown open as her head ducks to pluck the bone from the cemetery earth. Teeth enclose its' hard structure and she darts a few more paces away before she whirls, throwing dirt up around her skidding feet. "Mine!" she yells, word distorted around her mouthful.

There was a slither of sanity woven deep within her mind, clouded by the poison which soaks her very bodice in wreathing wisps ; a fog dancing upon her skin from the inside out - she was tainted. A girl once beautiful silhouetted in the glare from the sun, protected by angels wings sprouting from her back ; mutated now into devils membrane, obscuring the light from above and tarnishing her very thoughts. It was a whisper, nothing more than the whistles of a wind, drowned by thunderous waves yet present should silence prevail for only a moment ; lingering between crazed eyes and foaming mouth.

At the suggestion of release she merely raised her lips, a smile of the devil's warning, his misleading embrace. A bubbled laughter set forth at his humourless jokes, muzzle pushing forward as if against a barrier, closer, dark audits dancing with the oncoming joke. "I can be a vampire." Setting back, as if she had once been sprung forward and now returns, disappointment coursing through her. That was not funny. Not one bit. Wanting to pounce forward, force some humour into his bones, breathe amusement that could overwrite the words spilling from his mouth. Her hind limbs were ready to surge towards him, eyes ablaze with need, yet just before she released there was a claim. "Yours?" And actual question as her turn was slow, barely registering the thing clasped in the other girl's - pretty, so very pretty - mouth. Until it clicked. "No, mine." That needed power pushed from the ground to chase, mouth open as tongue lolled out. "I want you." I want that bone, I want your skin, I want you.

The dark surrounding and its inhabitants were lost to her as she gave chase, kicking at the dirt, relishing in the air. Come to me.

The other two reacted without even a trace of acknowledging his attempt to be entertaining. Gorgon watched them race off on some ridiculous game, raised an eyebrow, and shrugged.
"Tough crowd," he mumbled to himself.
That, more or less, should conclude this particular adventure. He couldn't think of any reason for him to keep hanging around here. Watching the locals accuse him of being an idiot and then run around with bones like little kids playing with sticks was kind of baffling, but he was starting to think that everything was gonna be like that. Nothing here made sense because none of the people made sense - or the landscape - or the weird cults they all lived in. So, probably, the best he could hope for was that eventually he would run into some that had a sense of humor. Or a sense of normalcy. Or something.
All things considered, it was probably best to move on before one of them tried to talk to him again. The traveler cracked his neck, took a last glance around himself, and backed off down the trail again.
He would just go home, or whatever, and decide what else to do from there. As for the other two - he sort of hoped it rained and they got wet. He cocked an eye up at the sky, decided precipitation was unlikely, and hummed under his breath.
Oh well.

The reaction was slower than she'd anticipated, Alicia is slow as she turns, as if the realizing hadn't quite dawned on her, but Al's grin was huge when the words finally form on those youthful lips; no, mine. But what really caught the rebel's eye was the turn of the male, he'd lost interest in them, it knits her brows in confusion and frustration and with a flick of those oceanic eyes towards the younger, more insane one; she lopes in the direction the male was headed. "Hey, where are you going!" she inquires around the marrow of the bone, and with one eyeball on the girl and the other on the man, she drops the bone with a glaah of her lolling tongue, it falls with a heavy thud on the damp dirt and she places a paw across it. "We not exciting enough for you, huh?" She chuckles and leans down to shove the bone towards Alicia who would no doubt have been on her by then, "you can have it kid, but I know a place where there is better ones." Where there was more death than anywhere she'd ever seen, of course she'd have to bring the kid to her mother first and the thought of having her in Rebel was slightly exciting.

"What about you, traveler, where are you going?" She questions Gorgon, a sweet tilt to her head in a curious way and she flicks those eyes towards Alicia, to keep an eye on the unstable girl she'd happened across. She'd be ready to fight if the rogue initiated one, but not before.

Alicia - sorry this is horrid! D;
