The world changes colour around her, dipping from blossoming flowers of violet and indigo to the lifeless leaves that fall from their branches in rich copper and burgundy. From her mountain ledge she has watched Rebel move at a backwards pace, from the stone where she stands she has seen more than she cares to admit, and from here; she has lost most of her sanity. Forced to kill, forced to obey, a spring stretched too far, for inevitably it will snap, and oh how she has snapped. Her howl beckons them all forth, lips that slide into a curl as she descends the same cliff edges she has walked on for years passed, and will for the years to come. Rebel was her saviour when she had nothing, and now, after all this time; she would be its saviour.

"All of you," her voice rises above the grass hoppers and their buzzing, above the water trickling free in the Naveen that rolls through the ridge, but she does not shout; for all of them should be able to hear her, if her howl had gotten their attention. She had been putting it off for days, chewing at nails and relying on the unsteady beating of her heart to hold her back from her true desires, but what were they if not wolves? You are wolves! and Nox had been right, they were instinctual beasts, they should be feared, they should be wild, and it is these thoughts that twist and pull her face upwards in a sadistic smile as the ground levels out beneath her.

She chooses the same arena she had chosen when she had called for Nox to face her, she was stronger now, a little wiser perhaps, and this time she was not so desperate. She moves into the flat space in front of her, dust coated and pebble scatter, it was a levelled space to the side of their meeting boulders. A cliff rises up behind her, leading back up towards the mountain and the lions that lived above, and in front; large stones jut from the earth, smooth edged but bulky, they left enough room for a wolf to face her and then a half. Plenty.

With a tilt to her head, her ears snap back to sit snug against her skull, even through the fur she could hear everything that moved around her. Muscles ripple and roll beneath her tightly pulled skin as she lowers herself, joints bending and toes splaying to anchor her arachnid frame to the red dirt below. Hackles rip free from her spine, inkwell spikes dipped in the venom of her words, cascading across shoulders that had grown solid with the effort of her vigorous routine. Her tail raises, hooking above her hips in a ferocious display for exactly what she was here for, a flag of her reeking dominance, of her persistence.

It was perhaps Singer's death that pushed her over the edge, venom had leaked from her heart in the face of a lifeless queen, a fallen legend. Emptiness had taken hold of her that day, and in a snap of her patience, here she was. "Come, Rebel, today we conquer, for today I take back what's mine." Any who deny her the crown she has longed for would face her wrath after the auburn elder felt it, she would bring down the walls today, and death would await any who defy her.

You have played your games for too long.

ooc; This is something Charlotte has been working on for a while, I do not want any problems regarding ooc to IC, as she has plenty of IC reasons to go ahead with this claim. Thank you, and may the odds be ever in your favour. ;3

Charlotte is riddled with scars from head to toe, the right side of her face is bare of fur, and both her ears are in tatters at the tips.

The call saddened her. This was never what she'd wanted. She'd tried so hard to get Charlotte and the pack to trust her - and surely it must have worked so far, or Charlotte would have taken the pack sooner. For the woman must have known that any call to arms would result in her victory - Rykerri was far beyond fighting. And really, it didn't matter so much who was in charge, if only Charlotte would still take her advice - being Alpha just gave her the power to veto any decisions that were necessary. But now, it would all be gone. If she was being called here in anger, then the chances of regaining this woman's trust were slim. She'd live out her days growing crusty and stiff-legged, hiding in the caves to avoid her shame, just like Nichaia had.

...Nah. That didn't sound like Rykerri.

She hobbled up the hill, her seasonal arthritis beginning to tickle her knees and ankles. Her eyes kept an eye out for signs of movement - her vision was just noticeably duller than a regular wolf's, now; Rebel's abilities could no longer counteract old age - though the change had been so slow that she paid it no mind.

When she reached the top of the climb and rounded the corner, she quickly rearranged herself to appear a little more confident, a little less... disappointing, in case any of the rest of the pack were already there. She held herself in a relaxed but confident way, tail gently resting behind her, head not lowered-- but she kept at a distance, lest Charlotte go immediately for her throat. She hoped not - she was unprotected, clearly not here for a fight, so she hoped Charlotte had some honor left in her. But if she had any honor, she would've tried to talk to her first- Rykerri swatted down the bitter thought like an annoying fly. She didn't have the upper hand, here; she didn't have the luxury of letting emotions get the better of her.

She sighed - not loudly; not exasperated. A quiet, slow sigh. Perhaps soon, it would be relief. For now, it was anticipation. "Charlotte..." she murmured, resisting the temptation to shake her head, but the gesture was mimicked in her eyes. "I won't fight you," she stated calmly - just the slightest hint in that statement, that this might go Charlotte's way rather more easily than the other woman could've hoped. Maybe. If she kept her head.

"Let's talk?" she asked. It was a request, but she certainly hoped Charlotte would agree - it was, after all, a 'last wish' of some sorts. She half-turned her body, ready to move off, beckoning with a flick of her head towards the path round the mountain. She knew a small cave nearby where they could have some privacy. If Charlotte agreed, she'd lead her there swiftly.

She is one of the first to arrive-- called by Charlotte and the challenge roaring in her throat. She does not come with a heavy heart bit rather, with an expectant one, for if there ids a fight to be had than she arrives PREPARED. Again, stashes upon stashes that she has scattered throughout doutaini, filled to the near brim with everything from hollyhock to witch hazel, from poisons to salves, to help and to hinder. And it is with this--this confidence, overwhelming so it is, that she arrives to rest upon the jagged arena's sidelines. Her blackened gaze that of a lifeless hawk, a corpse watching as puppets dance on strings to beat of their hearts, preparing to spill each others blood--not for love, but for domination.

ooc: Famine is here and watching and prepared to heal both combatants.

Charlotte Rykerri
it pulled him out of the bed, and for once in his life he did not take twenty minutes to get himself moving. there is a sour taste that rides his tongue, and for a moment as he feels the sun hit the back of his head he dares to make a move for the river for a quick washup. how his pads are hot with the autumn's heat upon the stone that scattered in some places. the curses that would leave his lips at such a thing were long in the wind, dare his mother hear him with such.

he is quick to arrive, the use of Agility brings the unkept boy to spot famines hind end and the distant words of rykerris words of talking things out. there is a moment in which he approaches, his head angled low, down to his chest with his eyes narrowed; does his shoulder brush the hip of famine in something of a push. a scaffold of his relation to the thin bitch who once poised the idea to claim the boy when he was but a young child. he'd like to see her try now. his body would slowly approach rykerri, the elderly woman who had begun to truly show her age since he had layed eyes on her. there is a moment where if she had not move his shoulder would brush the babes hip with the rise of his cheeks to show bright teeth. the dare. (the protection, swore by the eye of the bear) "she does not want to talk, rykerri" there is a grunt that is loose of his lip, something that follows his words as if it is spit that clings to his lip. there is a twist of his tail then, something that moves him a mere step forward to take place next to Rykerris half-turned body. an offer, one that would swear the ginger babe to the name of his family. only would he fight for those so neatly titled. "she only fuckin wants your grave dug so she can have what she wants, speeding up the process" they are laced with vinegar, a sharp twist of his head that pulls his ears back and his hind legs balance out eagerly. he could but recall how she behaved when her mother had joined the lions, the comments that reeked off her tone. how he now, offered to take a bullet for a woman his mother feared

It is not anxiety that grips her, or the anticipation of fight or flight, but the bone chilling sensation that things were about to turn towards her in a negative way and would probably reflect in the flame behind her eyes for the rest of her life. Toes stub and splay against the crimson dirt below her, she fidgets uneasily, until the auburn leaders' scent wafts to her on the breeze, and Rykerri finally makes her appearance. Standing here, smack bang in the middle of an arena of her choosing; she feels powerful, she could not deny it, the way such an area brought her shoulders back and pushed her chest forwards. But today, this arena and the onlookers that would no doubt follow; they were only for the formalities of pack politics. The familiar violet orbs still give her a comfort, for Charlotte was alone in this world, and Rykerri was all she had left of Nox, but beside that; was the disappointment in what the woman had done.

"Rykerri," she begins, but as auds flick in one direction her gaze follows to watch Famine wander in, bringing with her all the herbs she would need for a match of claw and fang, and the devastation that was left in its' wake. She nods, if only for practicality, but emerald eyes flick to the approaching Roswell next, and as he approaches Rykerri; oh how her heart sinks. His words lash at her like a whip, the very stance he adopts as he stands tall over Rykerri's turning figure, she can't help the impact it has on her; shown in flattened ears and risen hackles, as she tilts her head at him. "You talk nonsense boy," she quips, anger flaring behind the roll of her blackened lips, "you have no idea what I want." She buries the offense her heart has taken, the blackened organ missing a beat as she takes in what he means to do. She had apologized for scaring the wench, has she not? It had not been her intention at all. And now, she was here stood facing the consequences of his actions.

She moves then, her tail lowering as she makes her way towards Rykerri, and nods in the direction she was headed. Emerald orbs stick to Roswell with a ferocity she would not let go of until the two alphas had disappeared to talk, for if he so much as made a move, she'd be right there for him to play with. Her hackles remain risen, ears flattened as she sidelongs Rykerri and makes her way to the ledge that disappears around the side of the mountain. She'd always promised herself that if one of her wolves, any one of them, didn't want her to lead them; she'd never take it. But since then, her heart had shattered over and over and her soul had been stripped back of most emotions that a normal wolf would feel. Why should she care? Why, in the second Roswell had taken to arrive, had she begun to picture herself not of the ridge? She pauses as they reach the cave, shaking free her emotions to leave behind a blank expression and she nods at Rykerri; "let's talk then."

Rykerri - will reply to the wind thread now. <3

Roswell was quick to approach, behind Famine. Their healer was ready, simply doing her job - but the boy seemed perturbed; protective of Rykerri. It warmed her heart - at least, until she heard his accusations. Her brow furrowed; what did he know? Had he heard something? He was ready to defend her, and to go up against Charlotte for it.

For a moment, the thought crossed her mind - maybe she could hold onto this. Maybe her pack had more confidence in her then she thought. She hesitated - and in the brief moment that she took her mind off the very fragile placement of her limbs, the precise way she held every muscle and tendon to keep herself from taking on the appearance of an old woman, her arthritis stole the opportunity to send a painful twinge of electricity through her hips and down her leg. To cover the flinch that followed, she smoothly turned herself towards Roswell for a moment.

If he allowed, she'd reach across to touch her nose to his shoulder. "Shh," she crooned softly, a mother's gentle hush, to soothe. It'd be okay. She could protect herself, in case Roswell's words held any truth. But she didn't think Charlotte would be so dishonorable.

She let her tail rest upon his back leg, and left it to linger there as she turned her body around, as if gently holding him in place. And then, she'd be gone - swiftly walking with Charlotte to the cave.

It was round the back of the arena, the opposite side of the mountain - the cave's opening far away enough that they wouldn't be heard unless someone followed them; close enough that it took only seconds to reach.

- - - - - -

The moment she walked through the mouth of the cave, she dropped her facade. It was as if her entire skin had been shed and allowed to fall to the ground. She was a different woman, all at once - her shoulders hunched, her knees awkwardly twisted, her breathing shallow. In the dim light of the den, her fur seemed almost entirely gray.

It had all been an act. It was true that the joint pain had subsided somewhat since last winter; she’d learnt how to deal with it, spending much of her time in the hot springs. But in the privacy of her own den, she was a very different woman to the one she presented in front of her pack. It was a necessity; she had to seem strong, even in the face of struggles and weakness. Each day it had grown harder to pretend. More recently, she hadn’t even managed to get out to hold training for the boys, or their new recruits.

She turned her head away, eyes closed and holding her breath for a moment as if she was thinking- but the coughing fit that followed indicated the real reason for her pause. It didn’t last long; when it was over, she lowered herself to the ground, lying upon the cool earth. Even now, winter outside the Desert was hard.

She stared at the cave wall. "What was it? Was it Valerian?" she asked, but responded almost immediately- "No, don’t answer that... I don’t need a list of everything I’ve done wrong." Her voice rasped.

She turned to Charlotte, lazy and disinterested, her eyes half-closed and blinking slowly. Her head barely lifted above the ground; she was completely relaxed, though not totally undefended. "You could’ve taken this pack from me at any time, Charlotte. Any time at all." Even a year ago, Kerri probably wouldn’t have had the strength to hold on to it. Charlotte must have trusted her at some point; must have listened to her as a leader. And while Charlotte believed if was Kerri's wrongdoings that led to this, it was clear from Charlotte's actions at Wind's borders that she'd been believing she was in charge for quite some time. A sub-alpha wouldn't have questioned Rykerri's plans in front of another pack. And a wise leader wouldn't have, either. So then... what would Charlotte be? What kind of leader? "I know I keep saying it won’t be long, but... winter’s coming, I can feel it. Maybe it’ll finally take me.

"Nox is gone. Singer’s gone. I keep wondering when it’ll be my turn. Thinking, maybe I just need to do this one more thing, make sure I fix one more thing before I go, maybe then it'll be enough..."
She returned her head to rest heavily upon her paws. Her tail flicked once upon the ground, then stopped. The mood was somber; she turned from grumpy disinterest to just pure… sadness. She inhaled a couple of times as the emotions flooded over her. Her voice was a hoarse half-whisper, catching in her throat: "I’m not afraid to die, Charlotte," she told the woman. If Charlotte really wanted, she had the capability kill her here and now. "I’m afraid of what I’ll leave behind." For the first time in her life, there was no flame in those bright purple eyes. Her fire had gone out.

Charlotte Rykerri
liar! liar!

he is sworn but his words, the hiss of him that coil off of a tongue that takes now a moment to drape across his ebony lip. the way he is, in that moment. his hackles that are as high as one's length may go. the imposing figure of the lean boy, blown up in a childish switch of his lip. no boy, no man. he is lingering in that in between with his jaws begging for charlotte to open hers. (still, he didn't fill out his father's suit entirely and in truth, he didnt expects to.) the touch of rykerri, her nose caught within post of his chest is not ignored. how his ear nearest to her would turn sideways as if to notice such a thing. even in all, he spoke after a clearing of his throat. (his mouth was loose with saliva, how it had gathered from his risen lips) "guilt will eat you alive no later than the gods take her"

something as simple as taking candy away from a baby, just as a crown from an elder.

he had no respect for that

the touch of her tail as she slowly moved away kept with a quiet foot. his ears had found refuge to his skull and his body seemed to relax. a state that brings his head down, and electric eyes taking to their location; making note of the area charlotte had chosen before finally landing on famine. a wrinkle of his nose would mark the start of that conversation, more so just to piss then thin woman off with her trinkets and herbs. "the fuck is that smell? death?" it would draw him towards the woman with a risen nose as if to hint that..she was the one smelling. it necessarily wasn't bad, but different. some sorts of plant he hadnt came across

Feel free to skip around Roswell obviously until they make their way out of the cave.

She makes her way without a glance back, snide remarks from behind her resting so viciously against her broken soul, and she couldn't really think of anything she could have done to make Ruslan's boy hate her so. Instead, she blames Rykerri, an automatic reaction from the bile rising in her throat against the hatred she had been dished. One out of many would not cause her to back down though, not when she had worked so hard, fought for her place among the skies. Rykerri closes in on her and as they enter the cave, she watches as the elder lets her veil come down and left behind is exposed what she really was, how she really felt. Disappointment drips like acid from her mouth as she watches Rykerri fold in on herself, a tilt to her head as the alpha lowers herself to the ground as if she were meaning to taunt the ridge demon. Coughing follows the silence that settles among them, shattering what thoughts had passed through her mind moments before, it reminded her of Singer, and how the fire queen had fallen alone in the golden sands.

But finally; the words come, and Charlotte finally snaps. "I'm not going to fight you, Rykerri," she interrupts, shaking her head to indicate she wanted to hear nothing more from those crimson lips. "I never was," and she sighs before lowering herself down to the ground, folding her long legs almost gracefully beneath her torso. "I am not a dishonourable wolf, and the fact that you thought I would fell you in front of Rebel just proves how little you know about me." Venomous, her eyes find the older woman and latch on intimately, "you are not Rebel, you never will be, you should have stayed at the Desert and lived out your days comfortably. You keep saying you want to fix something before you go, but you don't understand, Rebel does not need fixing, we are who we are, and have been this way for eternity." With the flick of her ears she glances to the sunlight that filters in through the cave entrance, tracing the lines of brightness that the day portrays from this angle. She was not angry, no, she never had been, but she wanted more...she wanted different. "I've never been afraid of dying, and no matter what we leave behind, or how, it will always change again." Her gaze slips back to Kerri and her eyes soften, "I won't let you turn my home into one of the elemental packs, we are not the same, and it is why this is my home, and theirs," she jerks her head towards the cave entrance again, "you chose Nox," she says, "but we chose Rebel."

And oh if the auburn wolf knew how Nox had run this place, trespassers killed on sight, those not vicious enough exposed with the flesh pulled off their bones. She misses the old alpha, she realizes, more than she ever thought she could have, and Singer, it all built the burning in her soul to a new high, unbearable. Another sigh falls from her lips, "perhaps we should let them decide," she offers, "if they choose me, you will remain here at my side until your time comes, an advisor and a woman whom I trust, mostly. If they choose you, I'll leave you to your fixing, and I won't question your leadership again." She smirks and turns towards the queen with a quirk of a dark eyebrow, "a vote. What say you?" And it was her daughter who resided in Ice who had given her the idea, an election of sorts, but really, it was something that could solve their issues for the last time.

Rykerri

Wow. Things moved so fast it was almost ridiculous. By the time he's there, they're gone, but no scent of blood permeates the air. Instead, Charlotte and Rykerri's scent trail as they go to speak somewhere private. He takes the hint of their reasoning for moving, and tries not to attempt to listen in.

Instead, he only absent-mindedly watches Roswell and Famine from a distance. Since his...encounter with Famine, he'd realized he shouldn't be so desperate when it came to getting biological children. Strange enough, a small part of Clay wishes he were a girl -- just so he and Bjorn could share the happiness of being parents together.

She raised her eyebrows at Charlotte's suppose truth. "Could've fooled me," she croaked. She'd looked pretty ready to fight, and clearly Kerri wasn't the only one who thought so - Famine was all geared up to heal them, and Roswell was getting ready to put himself in the firing line. If a talk - or an impeachment - was all Charlotte wanted, there was no reason she'd call her for a spar.

Charlotte’s words stung. Rykerri’s eyes narrowed instinctively; it was a reflex to be hurt by them, to assume Charlotte was flinging them like lead shot. Until she realised there was some truth to it. She’d only come here because of Nox, and only took up the mantle because the woman she loved had gone where she couldn’t follow.

But did that mean that her cause wasn’t noble? Her purpose here was wrong? "Do you know how many wars Rebel has had? And how many of them were against Fire? Back and forth, once a generation, with death and screaming and the stench of burning flesh." No doubt the very mention of those words would bring back vivid memories for Charlotte, just as they did for her, of those times from her past - the smell of singed fur and flesh stuck with you till the end of time. Even when she was dead, maybe she'd have no sense of smell, but she'd still remember it. The way it hung in the air and clung to the rocks, even hours later. "Maybe you’re right. I was more of an ambassador from Fire than a leader of Rebel - but I did try, Charlotte. I wasn’t trying to change who Rebel is. I was just trying to make sure we could coexist. We all have friends in other packs- doesn’t it kill you, to think that the wolves you raised might grow up wanting to raid and maim and murder the descendants of your friends? Once we’re gone, there’s not a thing we can do to stop them. All we can do is leave behind enough of us to convince them to be wise and open-minded and considerate." Her voice grew thinner as her mouth became dryer. The smoke in her throat and lungs; a childhood of starting fires. Unknown to her, an infection born of winter’s first seed was festering inside her lungs. Maybe, indeed, it would take her at last.

A vote. 'We are rebels', she’d say, and then settle this with a vote? All this talk of 'true Rebels' seemed childish to her, after all she’d seen. There were no rules when it came to what the Rebel pack should be. "I won’t divide the pack, Charlotte. That’s the last thing I set out to do." A vote would only force them to take sides. The children in the divorce. She'd probably get Roswell. Valerian would go to Charlotte, obviously. Claymore might like her, the so-called 'elementals' sticking together, but Bjorn was never pleased after her refusal to promote him. All these boys she'd helped raise - she couldn't stand the thought of tearing them apart. It wasn't that she thought she'd all-out lose - a lot of them liked her, some had left, and maybe Charlotte had brought in more new recruits that she hadn't even met.

As she inhaled, the dry air caught in her throat and brought on another bought of coughing. She took in a few slow, shallow breaths with her mouth firmly shut to ensure it was finished. She wouldn't quite give Charlotte the moment of satisfaction yet, of being one hundred per cent certain that the crown was hers. Let it hang in the air for just a minute more, so she had some semblance of control, some reason for Charlotte to stay and keep listening.

She looked Charlotte in the eye. She had one more question to ask. Except she probably already knew the answer. "You're not going to kill Canela, are you?"

As if being late has ever stopped him before. He steps into the group in silence. He was here and ever apart of his home, despite the ghost like nature he takes with them. Ears are folded to skull. He had heard the call. Had watched from the ledges above as all filed in and out of the cave arena. But he had not bothered to join the chaos until he was sure things had calmed. The voices drew him deeper. The crowd he lost himself within as eyes try to steal peeks of Charlotte. Always to ensure her well being, even if from the shadows it occurred. He was there though. A reminder of the olden days. Of the blood that formed these very rocks.

"Well that was the point," Charlotte throws back, venomous eyes trying to control the emotions that swam beneath the surface. They'd flock to the arena, by-standers waving in the wind with snarling faces and pinned ears, ichor leaking from the folds in their lips. A hunger for the carnage, for the devastation, the blood. She remembers the first few weeks here, she had only been a young adult, unsure how to move passed her history and the abandonment of her family, the massacre that her father had slain. Venae had taken her in under her wing, but it was Canela that had brought her home, and shortly after it had been Noxaeterna. Her lip tightens around jagged teeth as she looks at Rykerri, and somewhere in her chest something clicks in to place. A love story gone horribly wrong, Charlotte had the capacity to emphasize but this element raised wolf could not, wouldn't see that their stories were the same for the most part, the only difference was that Canela was still alive, and Nox had chosen her destiny.

Rykerri starts speaking again and Charlotte draws in a heavy breath to listen, her ears lowering and flicking out to the sides as words fill up her mind. She thought it sad, that every word that escapes those crimson lips the mind behind believed. She herself had heard the rumours of rebel spread vastly across Doutaini upon arrival, Vaitan had shared a few of them himself, and she couldn't deny that when she had first arrived the wolves who resided in the mountain were ferocious. But wars and blood, and burning anarchy? Those were a thing of the past, and if Rykerri couldn't see that- "enough, Rykerri. You sound like a mad woman," she holds a hand up as she cuts the old woman off, ears flipping upwards as she unfolds her long legs and gets carefully to her feet. Her tail tucks to her side, her thigh warm from where it had been pressed to the bare stone. "I don't want the pack to divide, must there be a hidden meaning behind everything?" Her voice is agitated as she looks down her nose at the alpha, a growl rumbles somewhere deep in her throat, and finally she shakes out her coat of dust and lodged pebbles. "I am taking Alpha, and you can either get out of my way, or I will take it from you and send you on your way. Nox wanted you to stay here and live out your days and I am happy to see that through for her," she bites back the venom, the hurt laced behind a glare. "But you will not have a say in any of my wolves." Her jaws snap shut with a click and she takes enough steps to engulf her frame in sunlight, she could sense even from here that not many from the pack she so adored, had shown yet. What is loyalty?

Her head swivels as she glances back towards Rykerri, her features twisting in expectancy, but she catches the words that come next. A sigh, borderlining a growl, escapes her. "Is that all you think about?" She snaps, "you go on about wars and blood loss, but all you want is the head of the one Nox fell to?" She laughs, a sadistic sound that presses against her fangs, "you'd start a war for revenge!" She hisses, ears pinning to her skull, "choke on your words, Rykerri. You are alpha no more."

So, I lied. But I got it here eventually! Excuse Charlotte's rudeness. XD <3 Rykerri

come on, it's time for something biblical!

He's late, but unrepentant, and enters the riled group with a sort of pride that lifts his chin. Acidic eyes glance towards those gathered, lingering briefly on Vim (the remnants of his lips twitch with the urge to snarl) before landing on the cave where the pair of harshly muffled voices came from. Valerian had missed most the conversation, but he knew, from the call Charlotte made, what was to transpire. The dethroning of an unworthy Queen.

He smiles, but it is a deranged, monstrous smile. Flecks of spittle rattle from his teeth as glared daggers at no one in particular. Valerian was a brute, a monster and a warhound who thrived in conflict. But every warhound knows order, and, until Charlotte gave the command, the brute would wait. He keeps to himself, having not formed any particular friendships with those gathered (gods, for a brief second, he missed Creed. Her touch, her voice. But it's wiped away with the hatred that had slathered his heart.) Valerian paces, head lowered, hackles raised. He doesn't expect this to go over well, and it shows in the way he carries himself; a man ready for war.

Not being pushy, just letting you both know that this thread can be continued and doesn't need to be put on hold for the outcome of the other thread, as no death matches are ensuing.

-if we can make this first priority it would be good though. xox
